My Thoughts:

Storm is the first book in the storm Mc series by Nina Levine. Madison has grown up in the club life, but J has been on her mind as long as she's known him and when they get together, there's nothing but sparks. Then one fateful night an event occurs that Madison can't get past and she sinks into bad habits and bad men. She finally gets away and gets herself together and the past cones calling. J shows back up in Madison's life and she's just as hot for him as ever. Will J and Madison be able to put the past behind them or will it pull Madison back into the darkness?


Storm had strong characters in it and was a good read. There were lots of juice sex scenes, personally a few too many for me but I kind of expected that with a motorcycle club series. It's not that I don't like juicy sex scenes I just would've liked a little more story outside of the sex between J and Madison. I really loved Madison, she was strong and stubborn but she had flaws that made me connect with her even more. I love J, he was strong and cocky and hot, exactly what ever girls fantasy man probably looks like. The storyline was good however I would have loved to delve a little more into the club business. I did enjoy this book and look forward to reading more in the series.

My Thoughts:
Just Cause is the first book in the Just Cause Universe by Ian Thomas Healy. Mustang Sally has prepared her whole life to be part of the Just Cause Team, A parahuman organization fighting crime. Sally is a third generation speedster, which means she can run really really fast, can put here senses into overdrive which results in time slowing down around her so she can do things before anyone even sees her such as disarm a bad guy. Sally Just graduated from the Hero Academy 6 months ago, and spent the last six months training with the lucky seven, an independent group of superheroes.She turned 18 and the Lucky seven hands her thier gift and its a letter informing her she got an internship of a lifetime with the just Cause team. Sally and the Lucky Seven are called for a ddisturbancethat proves to be difficult for the team to handle, and Sally recognizes the threat as a ghost from her families' history. Just Cause is a group of elite parahuman superheroes that take care of any parahuman threats the government doesn't know how to deal with. Sally starts her internship at Just Cause and is immediately thrown into a case, her quick thinking during the case earns her some recognition and she begins to feel more like one of the team. Sally is then selected to go on a mission with members of the Just cause team even thought she is just an intern due to her research on the subject of the case. Will Sally's first mission prove to be too much for her or will she prove just how much of a true hero she really is?

I love superheroes and this story didn't disappoint, it was full of combat and excitement and a little bit of romance mixed in. From the beginning of this book there was action going on. I liked Sally, she was very down to earth even though she was the fastest speedster to date. Sally was so dedicated to being a superhero and taking down those who pose a threat to society. I loved the powers that was given to the superheroes and the names that refrenced their powers such as brick or speedster. I enjoyed the little bit of romance that was mixed in but didn't take away from the superhero action part of the story.

In all honesty I didn't dislike anything about this story, I felt that it had strong characters and a strong story line.  I felt that it was well written and I always knew what was going on, I was never confused or lost.

I will be trying to obtain the other books in this series so that I can read more about the characters I fell in love with in this first installment.

My Thoughts:

V card is the first book in the Sharing Spaces Series, written by Alicia Michaels. Jennifer's twenty- first birthday is looming ever so close. Jennifer has one goal to complete before she turns twenty-one, lose her virginity. Jennifer doesn't want to lose it just because everyone else has, she wants to lose it because it's the last thing keeping her from womanhood. Jennifer has had a few mishaps when it came to sex and thinks she will never get the moment she is looking for. With only 60 days till her birthday she will lose her virginity by then. She finds unexpected things on the road to complete her mission and learns that lasting love is different then she thought and can be found in plain sight.

I love the plot of this book, as a woman I could relate to the characters and the story. I loved the relationship dynamics between the characters. The story was easy to follow and entertaining, as well as funny and sexy. This story was a very well written romance that kept me interested and entertained the whole book.

The only thing I didn't like about this book was that it was too short. I would have loved more of the characters. I will definitely be reading the rest of the books in this series.

My thoughts:

       Loki Blackstar is a half-angel, half-human vampire hunter. Who's mission is to kill 100 vampires to be redeemed of his past indiscretions and go home. A girl shows up with an opportunity to give him what he needed by allowing him the chance to kill one very powerful vampire princess plaguing her town of sorrow, he couldn't pass up the chance. However, when Loki gets wrapped up in the world of fairy tales and the beautiful demonic vampire princess will he be able to kill her, or will his past come calling? 

I liked the plot of the book, it was intriguing and original as well as decently paced. I also liked that fairy tales were closely related to the original Grimm Brothers versions instead of the perfect picture Disney versions. I felt that the author did well with making the characters feel realistic. 

I felt like some of the humor in the book was a little juvenile, however, it accentuated the fact that the characters are socially inept teenagers. I was a little thrown by the importance of the talking animals, as they seemed irrelevant to the story line. I also liked the fairy tales that were related to the original Grimm fairy tales.
