My Review
I love everything Kim writes. This was equally as great. I love Gabe even more! In the first book Liv was this strong independent girl, but understandably so she becomes more timid and careful. Felt real. As always can’t wait for the next book Kim writes! Strongly recommend you to read this series!

Kimberly Loth can’t decide where she wants to settle down. She’s lived in Michigan, Illinois, Missouri, Utah, California, Oregon, and South Carolina. She finally decided to make the leap and leave the U.S. behind for a few years. After living in Cairo, Egypt for 2 years, she's decided to go to the Far East and currently calls Shenzhen, China home. She loves romantic movies, chocolate, roses, and crazy adventures.

My Review:

Sarra's covers are always so vibrant and this is no different!

Sarra took some time off from writing this series to find her love of writing again. She began another series in the meantime. After almost a 2 year wait, Beyond the Darkness was finally finished and released. It was worth the wait! I love this series and re-read the first 8 before reading this one. I really enjoyed the time hop, Sarra executed it well through out the book. I wasn't that interested in the Lea/Aerden story line, I just wanted more of Harper :). It was still a great book though! Can't wait for the next one!!

Sarra Cannon writes contemporary and paranormal fiction with both teen and college aged characters. Her novels often stem from her own experiences growing up in the small town of Hawkinsville, Georgia, where she learned that being popular always comes at a price and relationships are rarely as simple as they seem.

Sarra recently celebrated six years in indie publishing and has sold over half a million copies of her books.

She is a devoted (obsessed) fan of Hello Kitty and has an extensive collection that decorates her desk as she writes. She currently lives in South Carolina with her amazingly supportive husband and her adorable son.

Peyton, Sydney’s charismatic older brother, has always been the star of the family, receiving the lion’s share of their parents’ attention and—lately—concern. When everyone else is so worried about Peyton, is she the only one concerned about the victim of the accident?

Enter the Chathams, a warm, chaotic family who run a pizza parlor, play bluegrass on weekends, and pitch in to care for their mother, who has multiple sclerosis. Here Sydney experiences unquestioning acceptance. And here she meets Mac, gentle, watchful, and protective, who makes Sydney feel seen, really seen, for the first time.

The uber-popular Sarah Dessen explores her signature themes of family, self-discovery, and change in her twelfth novel, sure to delight her legions of fans.

My Review:
I have been reading Dessen's books since I was in high school doing an English project on Dreamland (which is how I stumbled upon Sarah's novels). I am now 29 years old and still look forward to her latest releases. Saint Anything is now my favorite, Dreamland previously held this spot.

It was refreshing to read something that didn't just revolve around a love story, there is a strong friendship with the main characters. There were some scenes that I questioned why they were there: Jenns' birthday party? I did however like how Sarah tied in Sydney's old friends, that we met at the beginning, to the end.
Overall, great book. I loved it and it felt very real and relatable.

Sarah Dessen is the #1 New York Times bestselling author of over a dozen novels for teens, which have received numerous awards and rave reviews. Her books have been published in over thirty countries and have sold millions of copies worldwide. She is the recipient of the 2017 Margaret A. Edwards Award from the American Library Association for outstanding contribution to young adult literature for her novels: Keeping the Moon, Dreamland, This Lullaby, The Truth about Forever, Just Listen, Along for the Ride, and What Happened to Goodbye. Her newest novel, Once and for All, will be released in June 2017. An NC native, she currently lives in Chapel Hill with her family.

My Review
This is the first that I've read of Amy Brent's. This was a very hot read! Right from the start. Amy Brent wastes no time. Sometimes with these kinds of stories the sex scenes begin to get repetitive, same process over again and it looses its' steaminess. I thought Amy did a good job with keeping each scene fresh and just as hot. However, at the end I did find myself skimming over it to get further in the story line. It was just a lot of sex. lol Amy also goes between POVs each chapter. I thought this was nice to know what each character was thinking.

Overall steamy, hot read with a good story. More than just sex.
