Fierce Review

Fierce
Written by: Nina Levine
Published: February 28, 2014

Goodreads Synopsis:

She’s everything he’s never wanted. He’s everything she’s never known.

Scott Cole is a force to be reckoned with. As Vice President of the Storm Motorcycle Club he carries out his duties with a ruthless determination. He moves through life with a clear agenda - protect his club and his family at all costs.

He is intense.

He is loyal.

He is fierce.

He doesn’t give his love easily, but when he does, he loves fiercely. Settling down, however, has never been part of his plan.

Harlow James is a country girl who has never met a biker in her life. She is also done with men. In her experience all they ever do is lie, cheat or steal. When she meets Scott Cole she knows he is heartbreak on legs.

He is confident.

He is sexy.

He is bossy.

She knows she must fight her growing attraction to this complex man in order to guard her heart. When his world crashes into hers and danger comes calling, Scott’s fierce desire to protect kicks in and Harlow realises that she might just have found a man worth taking a risk on.

My Thoughts:

Fierce is the Second book in the Storm MC series by Nina Levine. Fierce is Scott's Story, Scott isnt the settling Down type, he's the VP of Storm and He doesn't have time for relationships. Scott helps his neighbor's daughter Lisa out with her sick cat by taking it to the vet where he meets Harlow. Scott & Hrlow don't start off very well and are both unimpressed by each other. Harlow is friend's with Scott's Sister and starts coming around, proving to be difficult for both her and Scott. Harlow becomes available on the job market and asks Scott for a job at Storm's club Indigo, Scott gives her the job. Will their working relationship change their mind about each other? Will Harlow be the woman to make Scott settle down?

I love the dynamics between Scott & Harlow. I love seeing Scott's softer side, with Lisa and Harlow. This book had a little more story and little less sex (still plenty of sex) than the first, it was just the right amount of the two elements for me. I like that Harlow is son nice but she doesn't put up with Scott's shit. I was glad to see Scott and Blade kind of work together and kind of get over some of their shit. I hope to see things turn around for Lisa. I hope that Scott & Harlow become even stronger together and I get to see them again in the other books.

A gifted copy was provided by the author for a honest review.
